MARINE COLLAGEN

MARINE COLLAGEN

Connie has long believed in the anti-aging benefits of topical collagen. Four of seven of her popular Beauty System products contain this important protein, a building block of skin structure, elasticity, and firmness as well as bone and joint health. When applied to skin, collagen can boost radiance, contribute to smoother looking and feeling skin, and leave skin with a healthy sheen.

As we age, our bodies slow down the natural production of collagen. This slowdown contributes to the appearance of aging like fine lines and wrinkles. Supplementing collagen can help us minimize the appearance of fine line and wrinkles, plumping up skin when applied, giving skin a healthy sheen and smoothness. While collagen supplements can also be ingested, Connie Stevens Forever Spring has focused on its topical application and resulting benefits.

Since 1989 customers have enjoyed a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, added smoothness and softness, and increased radiance after applying our products containing collagen. We now know that marine collagen, derived from parts of a fish that are usually thrown away in processing, is a rich source of Type 1 Collagen, which happens to be the most abundant type of collagen found in the human body. Marine collagen is considered a superior source of collagen due to its high bioavailability, which contributes to its incredible ability to be absorbed and thus deliver its benefits. Its low molecular weight and smaller size compared to other sources of collagen is believed to increase penetration allowing skin to absorb the molecules more easily and deeper.

In 2020 three of Connie’s original products were reformulated to include marine collagen in place of bovine collagen. We hope you are enjoying shining results with our improved Collagen Skin Quencher, Ginseng Facial Feed, and Super Rich Emollience – all now with marine collagen. Collagen Facial Cleanser will be reformulated next and slated for release Summer 2021.
